Gordon-ADOPTED

Gordon is a neutered male Gordon setter of young age. Unfortunately like numerous other hound dogs, Gordon was bought by his owner purely for hunting reasons and as soon as he exhibited no interest or great skill in this “sport” he was “dismissed”… Gordon’s owner abandoned him in the port of Athinios a location very difficult to escape from especially for a dog that had never lived in the streets before. Gordon, our giant with a heart of gold, was completely disorientated in the busy crowds and the traffic of the cars, trucks and ferries… nevertheless he started approaching with his friendly regard passengers, tourists and locals that were passing from the port in order to get some food, water or just a pat on the head. Soon SAWA was informed and Gordon entered to the safety of the Refuge. Gordon is a large breed, very majestic and easy going, he may not be the hunting type but he surely is a number one companion for anyone willing to give him a chance!
