Shakira & Souki

Shakira and Souki are two female medium to small size puppies born in September 2001. Their mother Kali a small size Pekingese mix stray dog had her puppies on the beach of Kamari under an old wooden boat. The whole dog a family enjoyed the last days of summer in the company of the last tourists and visitors that would feed them. But soon the season ended and again the poisonings started… many dogs found a slow and painful death… Kali’s family was lucky. They were that last survivors of Kamari and SAWA decided to take them in the Refuge. Shakira and Souki are fully vaccinated and seem to be growing up fine. They are very friendly and happy pups and always make our day brighter. These true survivors really deserve a good chance in life!
