Valias

Valias is a male, large size puppy, born in May 2011 and soon to be neutered. Valias came in the Refuge at the age of barely 2 months old… apparently he was the only pup from his litter that had not found a home as he had a bad skin disease and a  completely bald tail that made him resemble more than a fat rat than a puppy so nobody wanted him.... Nevertheless he managed to survive and grow up with the other orphans in the Refuge. In a very early age he started displaying his true character…by far one of the kindest creatures in our Refuge with the most gentle heart and soul you can find in a dog… Valias became one of our favorites and he received so much love from all the animals and humans that one day the ugly duckling grew a beautiful, thick, silky new fur with just a tiny bald patch left to mend on his tail. We named Valias after the black horse of Achilles, a majestic name to give our small guy all strength he needed! We are sure that one day Valias will find a loving family of his own, that he will make really happy, because he really deserves one!
